CAMPING CARD

EFCO&HPA and their 20 affiliated organisations are now co-operating with the production of a mutual modern European Camping Card. The production of this card is scheduled to the beginning of the year 2004. Finland, Norway, Sweden, Italy and Slovenia will be the first countries connecting to this producer-owned Camping Card. The remaining countries will be connecting gradually.

This EFCO European Camping Card will already from the beginning be valid in all EFCO&HPA connected campsites, about 15.000. You will be able to order the card in the countries which will be producing the card or by the internet. The card will be loaded with a number of benefits.

The EFCO European Camping Card will be built on the same system developed in Scandinavia – Camping Card Scandinavia.

Camping Card Scandinavia entitles you to the following benefits in Sweden:

• Faster checking-in and out of campsites.
• Accident insurance cover for you and your family during your stay at the campsite.
• You pay for your stay at the site at departure, since the card gives you up to 14 day's credit (doesn't apply for booking pitches or cottages).
• A large number of special offers around Sweden at different zoos and funfairs, museums, excursion and travel companies, tourist attractions, etc.
